NewContent Tweeter updates Twitter account using article's title & URL once you add new article (content) to Joomla! It works very silence in a background of your CMS – you won't probably notice that something is adding to Twitter. Only indication of work is longer than usually loading of a page (approximately +1 second longer), and message “New tweet has just been sent to Twitter” that will appear on a screen. Extension for Joomla! 1.5 supports MyBlog (2.0.x, 3.0.x), and EventList - you can notify people about incoming event using Twitter. Attached URL to article/event supports SEF - Joomla! SEF and sh404SEF! In new version support has been improved.

Warning: 3rd party extensions like sh404SEF, MyBlog, EventList, VirtueMart are available in Joomla! 1.6 that's why NewContent Tweeter can't work with them. Once they are available, NCT will allow to use them.
